Fractional Poisson Process
For almost two centuries, Poisson process with memoryless property of corresponding exponential distribution served as the simplest, and yet one of the most important stochastic models. On the other hand, there are many processes that exhibit long memory (e.g., network traffic and other complex systems). It would be useful if one could generalize the standard Poisson process to include these p...
متن کاملSolution of Fractional Integro-differential Equations by Adomian Decomposition Method
Fractional integro-differential equations arise in the mathematical modelling of various physical phenomena like heat conduction in materials with memory, diffusion processes etc. In this paper, we have taken the fractional integro-differential equation of type Dy(t) = a(t)y(t) + f(t) + ∫ t
متن کاملSimulating fractional order systems using multistage Adomian decomposition method
Nonlinear phenomena play a crucial role in applied mathematics and physics. Analytic solutions of nonlinear equations are of fundamental importance and various methods for obtaining analytic solutions have been proposed. In this paper an application of the Adomian decomposition method is introduced for solving nonlinear fractional equations. The results reveal that the proposed method is very e...
متن کاملAdomian Decomposition Method On Nonlinear Singular Cauchy Problem of Euler-Poisson- Darbuox equation
n this paper, we apply Picard’s Iteration Method followed by Adomian Decomposition Method to solve a nonlinear Singular Cauchy Problem of Euler- Poisson- Darboux Equation. The solution of the problem is much simplified and shorter to arriving at the solution as compared to the technique applied by Carroll and Showalter (1976)in the solution of Singular Cauchy Problem.
متن کاملA review of the Adomian decomposition method and its applications to fractional differential equations
In this article we review the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and its modifications including different modified and parametrized recursion schemes, the multistage ADM for initial value problems as well as the multistage ADM for boundary value problems, new developments of the method and its applications to linear or nonlinear and ordinary or partial differential equations, including fractio...
